“Later maybe? I’ve got work to do!” He replied.
“But I really want to see you today.” She mumbled.
“I’m busy, please can we meet later?” He said before disconnecting.
Later that night, she laid down on the bed, closing her eyes so that maybe she can see him for the one last time before she took her last breath. It was all as beautiful as he said it would be. She could see the pain and sorrow going away but still had a glitch of not being able to see her son. He had everything he ever wished for and she lacked only him. His smile was the only thing she imagined before she uttered the last words and passed away.
“May god be with you son.”
